Some credit for bringing environmental concerns into the mainstream should be given to the 21 March 1970 (one month before Earth Day) broadcast of A Clear and Present Danger, the pilot episode of NBC's The Bold Ones series. "The son of a U.S. Senator takes on the cause of clean air when a friend dies of emphysema." I have no idea how many viewers the show had, but it must have been substantial and relatively upscale. NBC had promoted it heavily, and it had a prestigious cast including Hal Holbrook, E.G. Marshall, Joseph Campanella, Jack Albertson, Pat Hingle, and Jeff Corey. https://youtube.com/watch?v=3U-li8oddqM https://imdb.com/title/tt0065558/ 2600:2B00:870D:3F00:A842:7E7B:F727:D6BE (talk) 14:56, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. JTP (talkcontribs) 21:19, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
